Hi
A recent Washington Post article discussed a survey of Americans' choice in
alternative health therapies. Prayer for oneıs own health headed the list
at 43%. Natural products was at 19%. Deep breathing was 12%, meditation at
8%. Yoga was 5%, and last on the list not surprisingly was diet, which
only 4% of respondents used.
Itıs too bad meditation isnıt more popular. Itıs easy to do, and the
benefits are huge.
I wasn't always a big fan of meditation myself because itıs so, um, boring.
But these days I meditate regularly and it doesnıt bore me a bit.
And why is that?
Because I do a Qi Gong meditation after I work out. I use it as a cool
down, and itıs done me loads of good. I seriously recommend that you
workout hard at least 3x a week, and conclude with a brief (5 minutes can be
enough) Qi Gong meditation.
Qi Gong need not be complicated. It can be as simple as raising your arms
as you inhale and lowering them as you exhale.
If you want to learn a complete 7 program that opens the Energy Gates and
helps you increase, balance, and circulate your Qi, check out Connecting
Heaven & Earth Qi Gong at www.MindBodyBreakthroughs.com.
Probably the single biggest thing you can do to live long and well is reduce
stress. Stress makes us vulnerable to disease, kills our creative spirit,
and gives us a sour look on our faces. As the say "stressıll kill ya," so
try some Qi Gong.
Train like you mean it (but stay relaxed).
