Jungle Yoga
Date: Weds, 7 December 2005
One of the cool things about running a martial arts school is that you get to meet lots of folks.
Anyway, earlier this year I had a guy join and he told me he would need to put his membership on hold several times a year for six weeks.
And why is that? I asked.
“Because I teach yoga at a private yoga retreat in Costa Rica”
Oh. Nice work, if you can get it.
So, he joined the School, has trained hard, has shown us some pretty impressive stretching techniques . . . and we’ve made a DVD set.
Yup. I’m now the proud proprietor of a DVD set on flexibility called “Jungle Yoga - Maximum Flexibility in Minimum Time.”
Now then, if you think stretching is a pain in the everywhere, you’ve been doing it wrong.
This guy knows the easy way to full-body flexibility. The first DVD is sitting stretches. If you think it’s going to begin with big time painful stuff and get worse from there, forget it. He starts off with the 7 directions of the spine and works outward from the core from there.
DVD #2 is Standing Stretches and, once again, he starts off slow, by teaching alignment.
Anyway, after learning from this guy, my flexibility, balance, and energy have improved noticeably in a very short time.
As an added incentive, he agreed to do a 3rd Bonus DVD on Yoga Strength Training. It’s free with the course, but I may eventually sell it separately. Probably for around $89.00
It’s pretty cool.
If you’re into body weight exercises and functional strength, it’s very cool.
It’s on my web site now, and I’m selling it for $139.00 – that’s the 2 DVD set plus the Yoga Strength DVD.
However, I’m offering a discount to my students, on line customers, and folks on my mailing list.
This is really a solid, valuable program and it will physically transform you if you just follow along. I sincerely believe everyone should have this in their “know how” library.
My “Jungle Yogi” student/friend is an expert and a great guy. He leads you by the hand through the right moves, in the right order. He doesn’t just make it doable, he makes it so easy you’ll wish they’d taught this in Kindergarten.
Once you’ve done it, you’ll realize how simple it is to live your day-to-day life in a way that includes being flexible, toned, and having a surplus of energy.
Take care.
