Formerly Tired, Sore Kung Fu Instructor shares . . .

New 7 Day Program that Delivers Greater Health, Energy, and Peace of Mind to Stressed Workers, Stiff Seniors, and Sore Athletes!

For years, I’ve enjoyed a session of hard sparing and wrestling every Saturday afternoon.

This class was and is the hardest workout and the sweatiest sweat of my training week and it always left me feeling exhausted, but thoroughly “cleaned out.”

Then in my early 40’s something changed.

Me.

I noticed that when I went home after sparring I was too tired to enjoy time with my family for the rest of the day.  Then, the next day, even after a good night’s sleep, I suffered from deep muscle soreness.  And I mean suffered.

"For years I have sparred nearly every week, but no matter how fit I felt, I always suffered from muscle stiffness and soreness in the days after a heavy work out. Stretching seemed to do no good, and that is not surprising because there is no scientific evidence that stretching does anything for muscle soreness, nor does massage. I finally got some relief when I tried Robís Qi Gong Program as a cooling down method after sparring. I immediately felt the increased relaxation as I went through the focused breathing. And was I ever pleased to find that I was hardly sore at all after the workout.

Curious about this, I decided to do some digging in the scientific literature to see if it made sense. There is very little known about how to prevent muscle soreness. About the only thing that seems documented in the literature is the use of anti-inflammatory drugs, like Aleve or Advil, after working out. But there is evidence that Qigong produces relaxation, decreases blood pressure, increases oxygen flow, blood flow, and improves immune system function. All of this fits well with my experience that Qigong is the key to doing without the days of pain after a good sparring workout."

I was unwilling to give up sparring, but equally unwilling to do something that required a 2 day recovery period each week, so I began to experiment with the format of the sparring class.

I changed the warm up, but that didn’t make much of a difference, so then I changed the cool down.  I added stretching, and meditative breathing at the end of class.

The difference was phenomenal.  As soon as I added 10 minutes of stretching and meditative breathing, everything changed for me.  I had more energy when I got home, and no soreness the next day.

I was so excited about this discovery I told all my students about it and one of them – a professor in Neuro-physiology at the University of Maryland – did some research and actually found a clinical study that supported our own findings . . .

Qi Gong After a Workout can Reduce Fatigue and Cut Recovery Time!

Over the years I’ve formalized a complete training program of Qi Gong.

Anyone can use it.  Athletes who want to address the same issues I had, stiff seniors, stressed students or workers.  It doesn’t matter who you are, it’ll do you a world of good.

In this tape you'll learn a set of simple Qi Gong exercises that combine movement, breathing, and intention (meditative visualization) . . . and the whole thing is put together in a seven day program.

Human beings can and should connect with heaven and earth. When we relax and allow this connection to occur, we align ourselves with the vast, benevolent reality that is always with us but which is usually and unfortunately ignored.

How do we allow this connection to occure?

It’s not difficult.  We simply need to follow a progressive method of breathing, movement, and visualization that opens the “energy gates” of the human body . . .

And teaches us how to feel the enormous energy moving through us

What happens when we do that?

Good things.  Qi Gong is thousands of years old. With regular practice it can improve balance, strength, and flexibility, as well as release stress, calm emotions, center one's focus, and broaden one's perspective.

It also reduces constriction so the body can clean and repair itself. The progressive and thorough relaxation of this Qi Gong routine removes tension/constriction and allows your body to do the work it's designed to do - move lactic acid out and move oxygen and other nutrients in.

Here's what you'll learn:

  1. the rules for centering, rooting, and breathing
  2. the major meridians of Qi circulation
  3. the three critical energy gates of your body and how to open them so you feel the flow of Qi
  4. a standing meditation practice you can perform in 10 minutes
  5. I've also thrown in a bonus section that teaches you a routine (from two angles) that is designed to strengthen, stretch, tone and relax you the first time you perform it. This routine is called Qi Gong Wu Xi Wah which means, according to my instructor Chao Chi Liu, Qi Gong for when you have no Qi!
